Dotted Queen

        A challenge in the use of color scale/shade, the dotted queen tested my patience by recreating a portrait photograph of Queen Elizabeth II. Only using ~40 small swatches of varying shades of blue, I wanted to fully capture the subtle changes in shade of the original photograph, so I decided to use a small-scale consistent shape to retain as much detail as possible.
