Horned Lizard

Building off of what I learned in Maya, I turned to the sister program Mudbox. Using mainly the sculpt and wax tools, I first created the facial features of a common lizard. Then, using a grayscale image as a stencil, I carefully added scales and other subtle features. The horns were made in Maya and textured using Mudbox. This project taught me that sculpting software such as Mudbox provides the means to model more organic shapes that traditional 3D modeling software like Maya had difficultly achieving.
